Great job tonight by our own Jon Babb.  He is answering the Lord’s call to preach.  Continue to pray for him and his ministry as he goes into the world doing what God has asked him to do.

Great first day of ministry…the youth were split it three teams and each sent out to different service projects…we got to paint and each team got to bond and endure the 110 heat index in NOLA…keep praying…we will be going out to totally different ministries tomorrow!

Here are a few pics from the first day of mission work.  Keep checking our twitter feed for updates!

We have two ways set up to follow the mission team while they are ministering to New Orleans.

First, you can just look to the right of the screen on this page.  We have the twitter feed on our sidebar.

Go to twitter.com/#!/VFFWBYouth

You don’t have to sign up to twitter, you can just go there and look for updates or come here.  We hope to get some pictures and other updates from the team and will post them here.

This year’s kid’s fishing day took place at Boone Lake, with over twenty kids! Thanks to all the volunteers who served!

Coming later this summer….  Sign up this week!!
